Low-Res to Lasting Tribute
This before-and-after example demonstrates the restoration of a small, low-quality source image into a refined, print-ready portrait suitable for a lasting tribute. The original image was very small and low resolution, which made this restoration particularly challenging. The image was carefully upscaled and rebuilt using advanced AI-assisted retouching techniques in Photoshop. Facial features were selectively reconstructed to recover clarity and natural expression, with close attention paid to texture and tonal balance to avoid artificial smoothing. A subtle background blur was introduced to reduce visual noise and gently direct focus to the subject. The final result preserves the subject’s likeness and warmth while elevating the image to a high-quality presentation appropriate for memorial print, publication, and long-term use.
