Gary Ferster is a Medical Illustrator and Animator with over 20 years of experience creating scientific, anatomical, and medical instrument illustrations for a broad range of clientele from medical journals and start-up medical device businesses to Fortune 50 companies. He also specializes in product photo retouching and design for both print and online media.

Ferster has helped many start-up device companies take their instruments to market beginning with basic prototypes, marketing them through illustration and animation presentations, and securing VC funding which all resulted in FDA approval. His animation for Prolifix Medical’s ‘Helixciser’, a catheter-delivered debulking device for cardiology patients, was directly responsible for securing $8 million in VC capital seed funding for the launch of the instrument.

Ferster's work has been featured in many books and magazines including every volume of the "The Adobe Illustrator WOW! Book for CS6 and CC (2nd Edition for AI CC 2019)" also as a contributing writer and editor, "Illustrator 7 Studio Secrets", "Photoshop User" and "SBS Digital Design".
